I love this story. I love this whole series. This story was very romantic with one side of the romantic duo having a hard time with the idea of being gay. I related to this charact er, being afraid to embrace who and what you feel. This was a grand story that explored the difference in one's boundaries as you become more comfortable with yourself.

The best of the three

This was a wonderful book, the story line was the best of the three books in this series, the MC were well written. And narration was excellent.

Fantastic Story and Voice Acting

Wonderful romance about grief, self-acceptance, and letting go to find your path. One of Banting's best and Angela Dawe has outdone herself with her VA. A great listen!

Sad That it is Over

Angela Dawe is amazing as always. I really liked the Gillian character. The book was well done. Two thumbs up. Sad that this is the last book in the series.

Another great south downs story to add to the bunch! Always so well written and narrated! The sweet & intimate moments are touching and believable. Such heart-warming and humorous characters will make you swoon and giggle all at the same time, especially Agatha🐈‍⬛️& Dudley🐎! 🫶🏽

Enemies to Lovers age gap

Banting’s writing is always elevated and wonderful. This story is well crafted between a singer and the owner of the manor she buys. It has horses, gorgeous countryside and slow burn. And when I tell u it’s a slow burn it is slow!. I loved Dawes performance which elevated the story. Jillian was a really tough character to like. That was my only downside- but banting gave us enough clues in terms of character development to let us understand why she is the way she is. I’d purchase again and live through my dislike for Jillian just to hear Dawe narrate

Another wonderful book from Emily! I’m so sad I finished the series but looking forward to more novels by the author.

Fantastic 3rd Chapter

I really loved this series and I’m glad Gertie and friend’s had cameo’s. Dawe and Banting work so very well together.

Emotional Intimacy building is amazing.

Okay, the emotional intimacy these two MCs build is out of this world. From enemies to friendship to lovers is perfection. Book is well written and narrator really brought the book to life. The book is smart and there are sweet moments and of course some spice.The main thing that stands out is how the author shows emotional intelligence, intimacy, building over time. It makes you care about the MCs throughout their journey. I was invested and needed to know how the MCs were going to work it out. Also, the declarations of like and love were worth 5 credits alone.
