They tried to assassinate him. Big mistake.

A secret organization controls the world from the shadows. Danny Pearson just became their biggest threat.

A simple favour in Vienna. Pick up a package, get out clean. But when Danny arrives, a lethal Chinese assassin is already there—and he's not leaving witnesses.

The package contains proof of the Board's existence—a shadow organization with global reach and unlimited power. Their Chairman will do anything to keep their secrets buried. Anything.

Now Danny's protecting Kate Crossman and information that could bring down the world's most dangerous puppet masters. Every ally could be a plant. Every corner could hide a killer. And the assassin hunting them? he never misses.

Danny made them a promise when they came after him: they'll regret it.

Stephen Taylor is obviously warming to his character as this book is by far the best of them at this point. The action is fairly non-stop -- giving the reader/listener just a moment or two to catch their breath and then, boom - back into it.

The narrator can't do an american accent to save his life, but it adds a little unintended humor to the book. Otherwise, the narration is great -- I can't think of Danny Pearson without hearing "Scotty-boy" in my mind ...

Well worth the time . . .

Better than the last couple
