The sincerity of the author in telling his story.

As a 72 year old woman with an agressive disease process known as amyloidosis and as a retired registered nurse, I can both understand and sympathize with the author of this book. Amyloidosis has invaded my bones, digestive system, and heart. I have just concluded a round of chemotherapy that was instigated to knock it down but will not cure me of it.
Reading this book has allowed me to as has been said to "walk awhile in his shoes". His story is not a feel good read. It is reality. It has a good ending with hope as its outcome. Everyone should listen to his voice and heed his advice which is ...listen to your body.
