Bethany is a witch, but unlike the other students at Wellmoore Institute for Gifted Young Ladies she's never shown even an ounce of power. She's considered an outcast, and is constantly the butt of pranks that would get anyone else suspended. After all, her mother is powerful magically and politically - and is usually stuck getting Bethany off the hook.

All of that changes, though, on a yearly senior trip to Halewalker Academy for Leadership - an all-shifter school that teaches boys to become men and lead their respective clans. Bethany isn't stupid, and knew that shifters only mated with others of their species.

So what happens when a genetically abnormal werewolf ends up being mated to a witch?
