Patterson for the win!
This story had the whole family on the edge of their seats. Patterson did a good job keeping it kid appropriate, but still with enough mystery and intrigued that it held your attention. Only 4 stars due to the ending. Still, worth the read.

Great! ‼️
This was a moving and emotional story! I would like to add the narration was incredible, I liked the different voices for the characters! But I think the ending was disappointing, I think the story should end when they jump or talk about his reflection. I liked the the charters , but I think Fin was a little boring/basic. Overall good totally recommend! (P.S really recommend for 10-13 kids I’m a babysitter and the kids love it, they told me it’s amazing!! 😂)

Awesome but uh really complex at the end
I thought that the ideas would make sense but uh Isabella was kinda shallow me as a girl know how much shallow girls can impact an entire story. All around great! AEA

I enjoyed it :) however
I really enjoyed this story, and choked me up a bit. I liked the character ark, and sorry. But the language felt a little, “hey there fellow kids” in a few places. And the ending was, eh. I thought it would be great to end with them cliff-diving into the light, not re awakening. I don’t like it’s all a dream endings, it demystifies the story, and detracts from its meaning. I wish it ended with going into the light. But again, I enjoyed it.

Would you please have more than one narrator?
My kids and I enjoyed the story; although we expected that end . I wish the story would have been narrated by several kids not just one Thuringia to impersonate all the female and male characters .

Weird ending
I really liked the thought provoking ideas in the story, so I would really suggest this for the more philosophical listeners. The ending is really strange and nonsensical, it leaves us on a cliffhanger that’s never answered, so that’s why I gave it a three star rating in the story section, but otherwise a good book
