This should be a movie..
But, it might get ruined so maybe just stick with the Audible. Lily is a kick a$$ heroine who gives as good as she gets (and then some!) Marc is a great anti-hero who can turn on the charm when needed, but is more comfortable in his role as mercenary. (Although he doesn't show Lily much mercy in parts of the book). This ends on a cliff hanger which I wanted to join Lily in kicking a certain someone's a$$, so I'm off to get the second book. For the record, I HATE duets & trilogies but I really enjoyed this story and one of my favorite booksets is the Kane trilogy, so I'm in.
**my only draw back in here was the female narrator sounded like a pack a day smoker when reading Marc's part which was kind of distracting. Otherwise, she and the male narrator did a good job!!

too much sex
to much sex not enough action. Also it seemed like the author didn't know guns or offroad vehicles very well, too much winging it on details. it was okay not a great story.

Roller Coaster
What a ride! This was a rollercoaster of all sorts of action, sex and suspense. I loved the storyline. No secret that the male lead is rough! I would love to watch this as a movie. I could see it all play out in my mind. Was quite upset with the end though, cliff-hanger. And I was extremely angry with Marc. But we’ll just have to read book two. The female narrator was not so good with the male voices. I battled to put into context that the same person was interpreted when she did the male voices. Other than that, no other criticism.
