Story
My name will mean nothing to you, but my story is a re-telling of the greatest story ever told and should mean everything to everyone. My story comes forth now because now is the promised day when satanic doubt spreads like black ink, threatening to blot out His very name, to reduce Him to nothing more than a teacher, to erase the eternal truths He taught and Lived. That cannot happen. Jesus was who He said He was. I know because I was there in the shadows of His holy footsteps. His miracles were real. I know because I am one of those miracles.

Story
This book contains stories told from the point of view of those who experienced the revelations in the Doctrine and Covenants, giving us insight into their meaning. While the section headings provide context for the revelations, they don't tell the complete story. What questions prompted the revelations? What did the Lord's responses mean to those He addressed? How did they respond? Perfect for study with the Doctrine and Covenants.

Publisher's Summary
On the surface, all appears serene as the third generation of Kades in pioneer Utah grow up to take their parents’ place in the vast, rugged regions of the West. But fate - or is it divine providence? - suddenly steps in.
Jessica Scott of Illinois finds herself waylaid among the Latter-day Saints in 1870s Utah while on a railroad trip to California. Alone and seeking assistance from her relatives, whose religious beliefs she scorns, 19-year-old Jessica meets her cousin of the same age, Ethan Kade, who is home for a few days from the cattle ranch where he is employed. Jessica’s presence threatens to ruin the carefully laid plans Ethan has already set in motion. He makes a momentous decision that will profoundly affect his own future, as well as that of his cousin. For her part, Jessica has no inkling of the transformation about to unfold in her own life.
Join Ethan and Jessica as they struggle to overcome their differences and face the dangers awaiting them at the Running W Ranch in volume four of The Kade Family Saga, Beside Still Waters. This stirring historical novel of unexpected adventure, romance, and spiritual discovery, set in authentic detail against the backdrop of the untamed West, will leave the listener wishing for more long after the book is finished.

Kade Family Saga
So very disappointed in the book. I thought there would be more with the parents that started the whole Kade Family. It felt like they were just swept under the rug to be forgotten, which is a problem with today’s society. I was very very disappointed.
Also it said that Jessica’s mother was coming but there wasn’t any information regarding her arrival and how she felt about Jessica’s baptism.
