Great diner food!!!

I just loved the interactions between all the characters, even the murderers. First time reading this author and look forward to more series!!!

Entertaining if you can get past the computer reader.

These are well crafted stories with some funny parts. Obviously patterned after Janet Evanovich’s Stephanie Plum series, they do work, but they don’t quite get to that level. The computer aided narration very much detracts from the storytelling and inserts some grammatical and word use age errors that may or may not actually be in the original work.

Get a knew voice actress

AR Winter is probably a good writer, however, the sing song way it was performed was distracting. Now that I know it was a “virtual voice” a lot is explained. 👎🏻

Loved these books!

I loved these books. I really wish it wasn’t narrated by virtual voice because it didn’t do the books justice. Even though the narration left a lot to be desired, the books were so fun and entertaining. I will be listening to the rest of the series.

Great set of cozy mysteries

Low suspense which I like. Well developed characters. Easy to follow storyline. Narration is okay but not great.

The lack of emotion in the reading.

I couldn’t get past the fact that it was read by a very monotone voice. There seem to be no emotion so I can’t tell if it was a well written story and plot due to that fact.

Terrible narration

This was horrible. Glad it was free. Made it through the first book and will be removing this after I leave this review. I think the narration is AI. The story actually, could have been cute fluff, if they cared enough to have a narrator.

Just couldn’t get past the virtual narration. Sounded like reading an instruction booklet only worse.

Wished I had looked at reviews before downloading. Storyline was okay. Just couldn’t get past the no emotion narration. Will avoid virtual narration!

Don’t be so cheap

The story line is good and this COULD have been a great listen. But the mechanical voice is terrible. I thought I could get past it but I couldn’t. Moral of the story is don’t cheap out when picking a narrator.
