Rob Neto first visited the island of Cozumel, Mexico in 2011. At the time, he had no idea it would be the first of many trips he made to the island to dive the caves beneath the jungle. That first trip so long ago was the beginning of a lifetime project of cave exploration. Since 2011, Rob has visited the island of Cozumel more close to three dozen times and explored more than twenty miles of cave passages, more than ten of those miles being previously unexplored and discovered by him.

Connecting the Crowns, the first book in Rob's new series, is a non-fiction adventure narrative of his first few years visiting Cozumel and the efforts made to connect a newly discovered cave named Dos Coronas (Spanish for Two Crowns) to the longest explored cave on the island, Cueva Quebrada. This is only the beginning.

Come along as Rob reveals the good times as well as the struggles both on the surface and Beneath the Jungle of Cozumel.

Felt like I was in the cave!

Really enjoyed Rob’s book. As a new cave diver I was thrilled at the detail he added on his thoughts while in the cave. I related to many of them. I also liked the way he mixed theory and rules with real world scenarios. I learned a lot. I also had measurable anxiety when Rob went through those tiny restrictions. Can’t wait to read the next book!

This is a great book for cave divers

As a cave diver this book had me hooked from the very beginning. I can't wait to get my hands on some more.

Hit home...

It isn't very often that you get to read/listen to a book that talks about an event you were on the backside of when it happened. I was just a certified cavern diver at the time and my dive master instructor was in MX at the same time as the death in this book diving the same caves.... I was 100% freaked out because very few in the states knew what exactly happened or to whom. Rob's description of passages was amazing and oddly made me want to go to Mexico to dive some of the caves he described and he perfectly describes what is was going on in his head while in the cave(I've experienced the same thoughts). I CAN NOT WAIT for his Caves of Florida audio book as I will have likely dove a few of them on my journey to obtaining my full Cave Card. Also learned a little bit about cave survey in an underwater environment and now want to participate in some mapping dives... though maybe not where HE goes, kinda small for me.

Hooking Excellent Adventure Read( listen) !

This book is read by the Author himself and was hard to turn off . I completely recommend this as a must read for all Divers / Cave Divers, and for non diving readers that are ready for an adventure.
