Piece of history

It was a nice book. To see how someone’s life can change so drastically was eye opening. To see how ancient cultures were in history was different from cultures of today.

A story you can sink your teeth into…

The lush settings, the melt-you-to-the-core passion, the wonderful fleshed-out characters, and the historical events in the background kept me engaged and up all night to finish.


🎙️ Narration was good. I recommend listening to ALL of her books at 1.7+ speed!

Simply can't get into it.

The performance was ehh. and the story lane made me feel as if it was dragging. 4hrs in and there was finally a little action. To me it was just too wordy and I found that the lead was too annoying. Overall not great.
