Best book I’ve read this year
I read/listened to another book of his last year and it was my favorite book last year as well. I have some reading goals for 2023 and one of them now is to read everything this author has written. (That might be too lofty for one calendar year for me-I have no idea what else he has written, but regardless, this is the kind of Christian I long to be.) He’s getting it right when it comes to the way God calls us to love others and that’s my hearts desire…to get it right when it comes to loving God and loving people…His image bearers.

Solid, biblical truths - worth it!
very well balanced... compassionate and challenging. any book I've ready by him is this way. I am pushed to grow and look beyond my limited scope, but not left to get wrapped up in shame of not being or doing enough. he is an encouraging and circumspect author and this is absolutely worth the read/listen.
