When Icarus, a powerful quantum computer researching the birth of the universe on the space station, Gravity, suddenly stops co-operating with the crew, the computer’s chief programmer, Sam Yeager, is sent from earth to fix the problem. While working on Icarus, Sam discovers that the machine has made a startling discovery about the origin of the universe that it refuses to divulge. Additionally, Sam learns of a plot to sabotage the computer that could lead to the death of the crew.
