The narrator captured the audience. Powerful story

Enjoyed it! Narrator had control and great expressions. Content was powerful and eye-opening. The set up caught my attention and the closing tied it all in. One great story about a history covered up and untold..

Not what I thought!

This was a pretty depressing book. I thought I’d feel uplifted from it but not at all. Hearing the truths of how people of color have been treated is terrible. We all know who did it and it is still happening today. This book really angered me and had me on the verge of tears and rage. Whooo-Saaaa!!! Not a book I’ll be reading again. A little over kill on the biblical references.
