A lot of neat information

This book provides a lot of interesting information about bees. So much I didn't know and very easy to listen. It is a good beginning reference to anyone interested in beekeeping.

Disappointed and should have been edited

The content was not very detailed. The reader made multiple reading errors in chapter 5 and it should have been edited out. Also, the reader was reading to fast.

Terrible editing job

As a novice in the area of beekeeping I cannot speak to the accuracy of the contents of this book. However, I've listened to many audible books in the past and this is the first book that I have ever had to stop listening to because someone didn't take the time to edit out the do overs in the reading. If I were the author I'd be incredibly embarrassed.

disappointed

hated this book. I listen to a ton of books and rarely leave a review. reader speaks way to fast. audio is not edited and has several mistakes. however it's the connect that is disappointing. the context covers a wide variety of beekeeping aspect in 45 mins... very broadly.

Love this!!!

What made the experience of listening to Beekeeping the most enjoyable?

There was plenty of information that was helpful in this book. Some I have already learned but is still very useful information obviously. The one thing I would mention that I felt was lacking was this.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

yes i heard it in one sitting.

Any additional comments?

It was mention I believe at least 3 to 4 times that you should leave enough honey for the bees to eat over winter and I would think maybe other times when plants were in drought conditions.

Best beginner honey bee book period

What did you love best about Beekeeping?

Covers everything in a well laid out, narrative style. Well organized and illustrated, leaves little out. If you are interested in bees or beekeeping and want a "bible", here it is. Start with this book. Good coverage of the three most popular types of hives, their variants and reasons for each style.

What about Anthony Chu’s performance did you like?

simply awesome performance.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

no reaction towards it.

Any additional comments?

Great book for the starting beekeeper. This was recommended to me by a 40 year veteran of beekeeping. So if you are looking to keeping bees this is a must have in your library.

Loved it! Before I listen this book

Loved it! Before I listen this book, I literally knew nothing about beekeeping, but now I actually feel kinda confident - it's just that the author does such a good job of explaining each step of the process, without using a bunch of jargon, or getting too technical.
Nice to listen amazing grab!!!

Good advice' and knowledge for anyone willing to..

Good advices and knowledge for anyone willing to start... Nowadays our bees environment have been drastically reduced, due to the growth of the pollution and chemicals spread in the nature. When I was still a child, I remember I would always play around bees in public gardens, but nowadays they all disappeared...That's why I bought this book, to give my help to mother nature, and prevent the decrements of these insects of an capital importance.

Simple and informative

What was one of the most memorable moments of Beekeeping?

In depth without making it sound complicated. Starts off repeating the same information during the 2 short, first sections; but then improves greatly.

Any additional comments?

Great introduction to beekeeping. just the right amount of information. I would definitely recommend it.
