Story
The kingdom of Cornucopia was once the happiest in the world. It had plenty of gold, a king with the finest moustache you could possibly imagine, and butchers, bakers, and cheesemongers whose exquisite foods made a person dance with delight when they ate them. Everything was perfect - except for the misty Marshlands to the north, which, according to legend, were home to the monstrous Ickabog. Anyone sensible knew that the Ickabog was just a myth to scare children into behaving. But the funny thing about myths is that sometimes they take on a life of their own.

fun
This is very fun to listen to together with my son. we have 5 year old that we alwyas play something together before bed. sometimes read a book, or play some toys fighting games. or sometimes we just lie down, listen to an audio and get ready to sleep. this bedtime story book is great for that. it has all the vey interesting stories, he would sometimes remember that and discuss with me the other day morning. it's really quite interesting how kids digest things. also it saves me some breathe so i dont have to keep reading books. 5 minute is the perfect length. usually we just play one story, and if he wants more, then i say the last one, and we'd play another one.

Perfect for kids!
This audiobook is perfect for a burst of short and sweet bedtimes stories for your kids. The narrator is enthusiastic and soothing when she tells the stories. It comes with over 100 short stories that are all 5 minutes or less. As I was listening to them, I couldn't help but feel relaxed and at ease. I highly recommend this to anyone who wants to put their kids to sleep with this playing in the background or if you're someone who likes to listen to soothing fictional short stories in their downtime.

Soothing Bedtime Stories
I loved listening to these short stories with my children at night. I find them very relaxing myself! I find my children asking for this collection every night. Every story was a hit with them and the narrator was one of the best choices they could have ever picked! I highly recommend for any parent with children that won't go to sleep without a good tale.

Relates to child's world view in a relaxed manner
We loved the stories' use of nighttime settings and forest animals to relate themes of strength, bravery, and friendship - all things that concern young children. The stories are a great way to end the day, inviting quality time to discuss the issues that children sometimes believe they are alone in feeling.
Tara Sitrick's calm, soothing voice lends itself to a sleepy time of day, relaxing parent and child, alike. Her character voices were spot-on and fun. A perfect voice for bedtime stories.

Entertaining Stories
This book contains tons of short stories that are entertaining and fun. The book says 5 min stories, however, they're even shorter than that. I don't believe any of them ever cross the 5 min mark, and most of them hover around 3 min.
Fun book! Well done Nightingale!
