Publisher's Summary

Can't get your child to sleep? Then help is here with Bedtime Bear 2 - the second story in the Bedtime Bear series.

Often children can find it difficult to go to sleep. It's much more fun to play with friends and family. Their busy minds find it difficult to unwind, and sleep can become problematic.

The story has been crafted to include specific sleep-time suggestions; the narration and pace of the story is designed to slow your child's rhythm down and bring them to gentle, restful sleep. The audiobook run time is around 25 minutes, and it can be played from any device and will become a part of your child's bedtime routine.

Happy dreams to all children and parents.

Gets kids to sleep

The book is basically full of auto suggestion, reminding kids it is bedtime, telling them it is time to go to sleep, telling them over and over that they are sleepy and cosy in bed. It is repetitive and calming.

Well narrated

This is easy for kids to listen to and the book tracks a bears journey from the end of his day to his bed and to sleep. Children are told over and over that sleep is where they need to be and it does appear to work.

Bedtime Story

The bear picks up each of his friends after a long tiring day, each of them settle down and get comfy and cosy and go to sleep. The book is full of sleep time suggestions.

Used in our nursery

We use this tape every day in our nursery. Each of the children have a favorite – the train, the boat or the bus – but the effect is the same. Lights out.

Surprised but it did work

Had this recommended on a mums forum and I was fairly dubious, but gave it a go anyway and I was surprised. I did not use the story at night initially but my son was getting to that stage when he needed an afternoon nap but was refusing to go to sleep – this just mananged to help him flip that switch, calm down and got to sleep. So a thumbs up.

Good go to sleep book

For a few dollars this was a good buy. If you have young children who just wont go to bed then give this a go. The story runs for a little over half and hour and is aimed to calm and quiten children down. It might not work on the first go, but introduce this as part of your going to bed routine and it will help to bring some calm to end of your day.

Seems to work

The stories are repetetive and hypnotic, children like to hear the same thing over and over with slight variations and this is why this works so well. My daughter is asleep long before bedtime bear gets anywhere near sleep time mountain.

Sleep Time Reinforcement

I bought these for my daughter who was suffering terribly and not being able to get her little boy to bed, he was certainly ruling the roost at the end of the day and making her evenings fraught. These seem to have helped, and she has used them with some success as part of an organised night time routine.

Great help for grandparents

We have the series and they form part of our end of day routine when the girls stop over at our house.

Bedtime Made Easier

This really does work, I’ve got all three bear books and my daughter asks for them at bedtime now. They are full of sleep time suggestions and really do help to persuade little ones that it is indeed the end of the day and time to go to sleep.

Excellent book

My children enjoyed this and we have two of these from the series downloaded and they choose between them at bedtime. When everything is getting a bit fraught this is as good as having super nanny on hand.

Bedtime story

If you are too busy for bedtime stories occasionally then give this a go. It’s harmless and fun, every kid has a teddy and the story draws them in and speaks to them dircectly asking them if they are ready for sleep, and if they are comfy

Bear goes to sleep and so do the kids

It’s a very basic story with some interesting poetry that repeats and repeats with the aim of taking the kids down the road to sleep.

A good idea

This is basically a hypnosis book for kids to get them to go to sleep, it doenst quite get them to count backwards and go to sleep but it might as well.

Bedtime magic

Not the most interesting of listens but then that is not the purpose of this book, it just goes on and on crammed with sleepy hypnotic suggestions at a pace that is I guess designed to bring kids closer to sleep.
