Publisher's summary

How can you kill something so small, so fast, that only appears at night?

The old saying "night, night, sleep tight, and don’t let the bedbugs bite" becomes more than just words after a mother speaks it to her child, in this story set in a small British town infested with tiny, killer, alien insects.

Riddled with suspense and terror, the sleepy town of Lemonsville is in for a shock when a series of grisly murders occur in the same street.

The local police chief is tasked with finding the killer, but as he delves deeper into the case it soon becomes clear that this is no ordinary murderer.

Could the answer to Lemonsville's woes lie in the mysterious UFO crash of 1947 and the alien bedbugs it brought with it? The police chief must uncover the truth before the nocturnal creatures strike again.

If you enjoy suspenseful creature-feature-style horror stories, then this book is sure to appeal to you.

Packed with traces of comedy and gripping moments that will have you on the edge of your seat, this story will leave you wondering if you should dare say the old bedtime adage ever again.

Buy now and experience the horror of the alien bedbugs of Lemonsville for yourself!

never sleep comfortably again!

Do you already despise those vile little critters known as bed bugs? Boy, do I have some news for you because they just got a lot worse!

"Night night sleep tight. Don't let the bedbugs bite" a phrase I am confident that most of us heard at least once during our childhood. Hell, we've probably said it to our own kids! But Bedbugs aren't simply the nasty little bugs who consume our dead cells that slough off in the covers anymore. Their queens hunger is growing, and  they are on a mission to supply her with flesh.

This isn't your average horror story. It's unique and witty. I honestly had a great time listening to this audiobook.  The narrator is fantastic. There are a lot of characters constantly moving in and out of the story, and he did a phenomenal job voicing them all with a variety of accents and tones.

The only thing I struggled with initially was Lee's writing style. It flows a lot like a screenplay for a movie, which is fine, and given his background makes perfect sense. I could easily see this novel translate beautifully into a movie.  And if that ever happens... I AM SO HERE FOR IT!

If you like your horror bloody and full of gore but don't mind splashes of humor, this would probably be a great book for you to read.  I honestly recommend it and am sad to see that this book hasn't gotten the love it deserves. Since none of us will be sleeping peacefully anymore, there are no reasons left to sleep on this novel. Grab your own copy today!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!

“Night, night sleep tight and don’t let the bedbugs bite.” I will never think of this old saying the same after listing to Bedbugs by Lee Andrew Taylor. This story starts with a gruesome bang and does not let up until the very end as local police do all they can to solve the mystery of, and put an end to hordes of voracious eating machines, but the bodies are piling up at an alarming rate. Authorities soon discover that not only do they have to deal with a multitude of miniature bugs, but they also must contend with a gigantic ravenous queen as well. A unique, and interesting twist on bed bugs which are already vile and disgusting in and of themselves. I love a good creature feature and Bedbugs did not disappoint.
