nice story

Really liked the repetitiveness of the story. Would has the been better told in a quieter, more "sleepy" voice. I've listened to other stories I don't like as well but the narration works with my grandchildren as they are sometimes not listening to the story but to the cadence and rhythm instead. The very LOUD ding noise to announce the ending is very disturbing and not in the nature of "sleepytime" noises.

Good bed time book.

The pace, the story and the narration are all designed to take children on a peaceful sleepy journey. If you are looking for a calm end to the day this could be the fix you are looking for.

Sleep suggestions that actually work

Bedtime bear restored a bit of end of day calm in my house. I left my daughter to listen to this and it was far better than the awful go to bed routine we had had which often ended with me practically begging her to go to sleep.

Good length

If you have frantic toddlers who just will not give in then try this. The audio file is about half an hour and as they listen to it it does chill them out. I have also used this at nap time as well.

good story well read.

The narrator does talk well the children, asking them if they are sleepy, do they have their favourite teddy, and my son loved this. Enjoyable and the sleep suggestions do work.

My kids are asking now for Bedtime Bear

We’ve played this for a week now and my daughter is asking for it now, and it has become a part of her bedtime routine. On checking we generally find she is fast asleep before the story has finished but we just let it run on anyway.

A clear message

The message the book gives is a clear one – it is bedtime, and the animals are all tired and it is time to settle down to sleep. The book was long enough to be effective.

Takes them on a sleepy journey.

The story follows bear, picking up all his friends and taking them on the sleep time train to sleepy mountain. As the train picks up each of his animal friends they get on the train and settle down to sleep.

Really talks to the children

The story gets them involved in the sleepy journey, asking them if they are comfy, are they cosy are they feeling “just a little bit sleepy.” Aimed at 2 to 5 year olds, although might even appeal to toddlers a little younger.

really calming story

The story is that of bear on his way to sleepy mountain, there are lots of poems and repetition which is what kids really like. There are also lots of sleep suggestions.

Good to listen.....

I think this book works so well as it plays on the child’s sub conscious. It is crammed with sleep time suggestions, and the low paced hypnotic voice provides a little bit of calm where there was chaos. At about 25 mins run time it’s long enough to have your child asleep before the train arrives!

amazing book

I put this on my phone, the book is full of sleep time suggestions and read at such a pace it’s hard not to want to curl up yourself and take a nap. I use it for afternoon naps and in the car as well. It works. My twins now ask for bedtime bear when they know they are sleepy, and it has an instant calming effect on them.

MUST LISTEN

We’ve all been there – Please go to sleep!!!! Anyways I tried this, on the first run through my daughter didn’t go to sleep and I had to run it again. But on that night she was very unsettled and unhappy, the first listen calmed her down and she was asleep (thankfully) before the end of the second listen. So it works.

best book

The story is nice and long, the tone soothing and designed to slow down busy minds. At a young age children like to have the same story time and time again, they like routine and repetitive behaviour so this fits in well with this and soon it can become a bedtime favorite.

very well written

This was a Gods send. The book works a treat, a long soothing story about all the animals getting ready for bed and all falling asleep. It does the trick and after three days my daughter was asking for Bed Time Bear to be played for her at bed time.
