Cecelia detests the prince. She only knows Alexander as the arrogant monarch-the tyrant who has made her life miserable-though perhaps he's changed right before her eyes. He's not as full of himself as he once was. The prince is gentle now... but then again, so is the beast.

Great story

Sweet and interesting retelling. The virtual voice takes some getting used to. It's not as robotic as they used to be, but still has weird inflections.

Sweet story, I hope virtual voicing doesn’t become a thing

The story was sweet and at times I could *almost* forget the AI narration, but then it would trip over a word or butcher a sentence…the total lack of inflection made dialogue very confusing. Definitely reminded me how important it is to have a human narrator.

Lovely Take on a Classic Tale

this was an extremely enjoyable and sweet tale about unconditional love-- but also a lot of confusion. the main characters are confused for most of this story and it is not so sweet and halarous to me. enjoy! and look forward toJenni James's other free audiobooks!!! Especially Cinderella and Snow White
