Struggled to Finish
My initial reaction to the beginning of the the book was: "Did I accidentally hit the times 1.5 speed on the recording?". This narrator read fast, really fast with no differentiation between the characters. It annoyed me but since it was a short book I stuck with it.
As I got further into the book it turned into hate listening. I don't believe in slut shaming, but this guy - male love interest - was disgusting. He was mean, disrespectful, and had no, in my opinion, and redeeming qualities. His character was so under developed. I felt that a person with any since of self worth would not want anything more than a booty call with him. So the book end of the book left me not with WTF, but with "ugg why?"
The female protagonist, as she was written would not choose a HEA/HFN with this guy. So, for me, the ending felt forced.
The flaws with the narrator only made the problematic story worse. I do not recommend this book.
