I’ll admit I only knew BG from the movie , this being the first I knew of a written, original, version. Having the story acted out was like old time radio. I love old time radio. Anyway, those familiar with the movie will also greatly appreciate this version of the story
Of Beau, his brothers, and the Blue Water Sapphire.
There is a caveat. Try not to listen on your phone. I have an iPhone 13 and the sound quality sucked. I had to turn the volume down to cut the tinny distortion. Otherwise ENJOY!!!!

Wonderful, sort of.

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?

To make this a 4 or 5 star the recording needed to be better. It sounds like it is 50 years old. Was it recorded at the dawn of radio?

What did you like best about this story?

I loved the story.

How did the narrator detract from the book?

scratchy recording

Terrible recording!
