Disappointing narration

My expectations for “beach reads” aren’t very high. The story was ok, but the narration was almost unbearable. All of the almost indistinguishable characters including the men sounded like bored older women after few glasses of wine. I swear there’s slurring. I forced myself to finish the story. So bad!
