    In mid 2019, Nick and his wife Heather went to the hospital to deliver their third baby, but after their baby was born Nick's world turned upside down as he lost his wife due to an amniotic fluid embolism (AFE), a rare complication that can happen around the time of the birth of a child. Nick shares about his wife Heather, his experience in the hospital, and what life is like after the loss of a spouse. Nick's hopeful message will help build faith that there is a future after loss, that we can do hard things, and provide insight to those who want to support someone going through a loss.
