Killer of a story...
I am only 12:15 mins into the story... I ABSOLUTELY HATE the narrator...she breaths after EVERY sentence. I bought the book it so I will listen I hate to waste a credit...

Story was ok but...
Turns out this was a romance book, not a mystery as such. I felt that author put more effort into making romance work out than solve the mystery. pleasant having both.

Boring
I love Barbara Michaels/Elizabeth Peters, but this was a slog. The reader has no skin in the game because there are bones found and, then, nothing even remotely interesting until the very end, which is a pat explanation with a twist of the supernatural. Really surprised at how dull this one is. Usually Barbara M. nails it. Oh, well, it was free.

Good twist at the end, but story drags.
There were so many minute details that you could get caught up in the minutia and lose the overall story. Barbara Michael's made up for it at the end with a good twist but I can only give the story three stars.

Great for a long drive
Ok, let’s admit this is not great literature, but thoroughly entertaining and the voice actress is wonderful...and yes, it hooked me and will listen to this author and voice actress again
