A good Battletech story with awesome narration!

Unlike recent Battletech audio books like the Founding of the Clans saga recently released, this audio book has awesome narrators that do an amazing job of narration . I encourage CGL to use this team of narrators for future Battletech audio books.

it is a good book, but progression is very slow to the climax at the end

So much fun to listen to a well produced and well performed classic Battletech title! I find it hard to turn off! Well worth it!

coming iff the Grey Death Legion books immediately before this its a night and day difference. The narrator is cery robotic, yes there's a team if cast doing voice overs i. this book but zero sound effects. at least I. the GDL Saga when they spoke over mics it actually sounded like they spoke over mics.

On top of that the story is just very badly written. With the GDL Saga you could envision the characters understand why Grayson was a good as he was. But the main character here .... 13 years old takes down a mech with a mop and an electric cable alone? Yeah ok......

the annoying activism

this title is a feminist wet dream you hear more about the oppression of women than what you hear about actual Battlemech fighting. I bought this book so I could escape real world activism. do a kuritain treat their women with just little disregard yes but in the federated suns the roles are reversed where men are seen as the inferior sex. It seems like the writer obviously does not know anything about the BattleTech universe just that they know a few trigger words happening on one side. I'm willing to hear about the oppression of women in just a couple of chapters but this does it in every chapter.
