Another good CJ Box story

Having read all the previous books in this series, I was glad to see that the author had written yet another good one. This is one of the best series I have read.. I think the author has continued to stay true to the series and has not gone off the storyline of Joe Pickett. Cannot help but love Nate and his story. Now I have to wait for the next book to come out which I hope will be soon!!

Joe Cool is back

Another great Joe Pickett adventure, with outstanding narration by David Chandler (as usual). I particularly love the details about the “family of Marines” and references to the Abbey Gate disaster (kind of stuff that ties these stories to the real world). Semper Fi.

Love CJ Box

this is another great book in the Joe Pickett series. I really wish they would’ve chosen different actors when they put Joe Pickett on the screen. I think it could’ve made a big difference. I’m still waiting for season two or three. I wonder if it’ll ever come out I highly recommend the Joe Pickett series

C J Box has done it again. Another great story with all the usual characters.

Action

Fast pace story involving all of our beloved characters settling an old score, while weaving in an explanation of dissatisfaction with the military complex, but remaining loyal to honor and values.

Another excellent story plot by CJ Box

The narrator does such a good job! Having listened to all of the Joe Pickett novels, the characters are well known. The intrigue though is how the author keeps the reader guessing. It’s not easy to figure out how the story will unfold.

Listened almost straight through!

Love the Joe Pickett series. I wish he could write them faster!
Just wanted to let you know, the narrator made a booboo in chapter 1 at 20:10. He says Axel instead of Nate. I checked the book on Kindle, and it is correct.
Maybe not worth the edit.
