Great story, but needs a better translator
First off, I loved the story. However the translator constantly uses the phrase "as an aside'" to the point of being irritating. He could at least change it up occasionally with synonymous phrases such as: "by the way", "as it happens", "interesting enough", or "coincidentally".

Could have been good. But too annoying
Very slow. Very little action. All that is ok but the horrible French English accents are too much to bear. You ever meet a person that over pronounces words from a different language, this is the narrator times a thousand. I could stand it anymore. Wish I could get me credit back.

Enjoyable read
I appreciate the fact that the Main Character was not some overpowered superhero who was getting all of his problems easily resolved from the get go. Good story and narrator is very pleasant to listen to. I’m getting the next book. No regrets in spending credits.

A True Gem
Found this after reading Legend of the Archmagus, and glad I decided to get it. this book was a true gem, I devoured it. I can't wait for the next book in the series.
