Have you ever seen a basketball player who possessed a solid skill set for the game - ball handling, scoring, a good feel for how to play - but mentally had nothing at all?
This is the player who could dominate… if he had the mind to. He could be the top scorer, shut down opponents on D, and be the main difference between winning and losing for his team.
But... that’s the problem: something in his mental game is just… missing.
As you advance in levels of basketball - and especially if you ascend to the professional level - know this: The game becomes less about skill and more about mentality. This workbook is basketball’s mental game master key.
By the time you're done with The 4 Mental Tools Of Basketball, you will:
- Know how to push yourself to do the hardest work on your toughest, least-motivated days
- Bounce back quicker than ever from setbacks, bad games, and self-defeating thoughts
- Endear yourself to coaches who will come to depend on you as a leader
- Be the player who puts pressure on other players to do their best, knowing they'll have to deal with you
- Let’s get started on the most essential element of your Game

What a Find!!!
I am a high school basketball coach and the season is about to kick off. The idea popped into my head to look for an audiobook to listen to during my morning and afternoon commute. My goal as always is to help my kids develop the right approach to being successful in basketball and life. One of my selections was Basketball: The 4 Essential Mental Game Tools. Simply put, I truly felt that I grew as a result of listening to Dre Baldwin walk through his “workbook”. It gave me a number of things to think about and to share with my players and my assistants. Since I’ve listened to it, I cannot help but wonder why this audiobook hasn’t been talked about in my basketball circle or maybe mentioned during televised college and NBA games. Some of the things discussed would be highly beneficial to any player or coach on any level. I would recommend this audiobook to anyone who aspires to engage in their sport with the proper mental approach. I will definitely purchase other Dre Baldwin audiobooks!!!
