Ingersoll Lockwood invented the fictional character Baron Trump in 1890 for a two-part sci-fi/fantasy series about a privileged German heir who undertakes a sequence of fantastic voyages. The style of the Baron Trump series - a mix of fantasy and young-reader-oriented science fiction - anticipated and may have influenced L. Frank Baum's Oz series. The Travel and Adventures of Little Baron Trump describes Baron's trip around the world with his little dog, meeting new races like the Wind Eaters, Man Hoppers, and Melodious Sneezers.

Story
There is but one form of human enslavement more villainous and more detestable than the chains of the tyrant or the shackles of the despot, and that is the enslavement of the human mind under ecclesiastical tyranny, whose cowering and crouching victims at the crack of the priestly lash are driven from the cultivation of their own intelligence, from the custody of their own thoughts, from the guardianship of their own souls, and who, like whipt dogs, trembling and whining in abject submission at the feet of the oppressor, lick the very hand that wields the lash.

Story
Here is Trump in action—how he runs his organization and how he runs his life—as he meets the people he needs to meet, chats with family and friends, clashes with enemies, and challenges conventional thinking. But even a maverick plays by rules, and Trump has formulated time-tested guidelines for success. He isolates the common elements in his greatest accomplishments; he shatters myths; he names names, spells out the zeros, and fully reveals the deal-maker's art. And throughout, Trump talks—really talks—about how he does it.

Publisher's Summary
Ingersoll Lockwood invented the fictional character Baron Trump in 1890 for a two-part sci-fi/fantasy series about a privileged boy who undertakes a sequence of fantastic voyages. The style of the Baron Trump series - a mix of fantasy and young-listener-oriented science fiction - anticipated and may have influenced L. Frank Baum's Oz series.
The second in that series, Baron Trump's Marvellous Underground Journey, describes Baron's trip to the Earth's interior via an opening in the Russian Arctic. During the journey, Baron and his dog Bulger encounter many lost races, including the Transparent Folk and the Rattlebrains. The unusual prescience of Ingersoll's narrative has given rise to a conspiracy theory that US President Donald Trump has had access to a time machine.

Time traveler of Trump's son?? I don't think so
I got this book because I was listening to something about how this was about time traveling and...well you read my title. I am so so sure if you could tie this link but I sure did enjoy the book. I listen in my car and only work 4 miles from home so it took me a while to get through the book but so enjoyed the adventurer. This was a fun book. I am not normally a fiction book type person and I liked it. Most of my book choices would be learning of something, weight loss, fitness, business or government such as cliton cash. I would listen to this again.

The book is good, but it is not as I was told. I fail to see any comparison with our president, other than they share the name Trump. Still it is an entertaining book of a boys adventure under the crust of the Earth.
