Bargain with the Bully was a good follow up to Broken By the Bully. Jackson and Laura story starts with them hating each, which then causes all this pent up tension between them. So when they finally give in to each other its off the charts hot! I actually had to fan myself it was so hot! Not only did I enjoyed this quick smut book, but I really liked the humor that was added to this book…so If your in the mood to hear some hot dirty talk look no further…

Audiobook review: I actually enjoyed C.J Mission more in this book then I did in Broken by the Bully. And Amanda Watson did a great job again. I ‘m happy that I was introduced to these two wonderful narrators.

Really good!

This book is a great follow up to Broken By The Bully where we follow Jackson, the older brother mentioned in book 1. While he comes across as a tough guy, and a little bit of a jerk, he’s really not. In fact, he’s actually kind of a sweetheart who’s just had a very tough upbringing and had to take care of his younger brother.
I would recommend listening to book 1 first but this story can still be enjoyed on its own.

Hot Hot Hot

Bargain with the Bully began with flirty banter that made me laugh out loud. Then things took a turn from innuendos to downright dirty. Some of it was not my cup of tea, but it was definitely hot. And I loved how the dirty talk was (mostly) just for fun. This was a short book, so things moved really fast. I was okay with that, but also would have been okay with a more in depth story. The narrators were great, too. They really brought the story to sexy life.

Oh, Jackson!!

When Jackson and Laura (Asher's brother and Emma's best friend from book 1) first meet, they are sworn enemies. Since they're forced in each other's space because of Asher and Emma's relationship, they manage not to kill one another. In fact, they have moments of passion between their vicious barbs...that seemingly decrease in occurrences as time goes by. Turns out, Jackson and Laura have quite a bit in common, and as they spend less time antagonizing each other, they discover they really like each other. Both have their own baggage, and have to search within themselves before they can truly give themselves to another. I really enjoyed the banter, teasing, smoking hot chemistry, and swoony moments.

This was a really good story, but I recommend reading the first book to fully enjoy this story.

C. J. Mission and Amanda Watson do a great job with narrating this enemies-to friends-to lovers story.
