This started out slow but then you get invested!

I liked the story but I kept if waiting….
It was a good story and I looked forward to listening to more when I had to put it down. But I really struggled with how self-absorbed the women in this book were. They could do nothing but think about themselves. I kept waiting for them to come around but they never did.

Another great one
I love this author. She never disappoints. The performance is top notch as well. I enjoyed it and was sad when it ended. My only critique is one character (my favorite one) was kind of left out of the ending. I felt like I was left hanging with her.

very good book! Narrator should research the pronunciation of towns though. I grew up in the area the book takes place in. Darien is pronounced " Dairy ann" not
" darry- in". :)

Starts slow but ends better
It took me a couple of times to get into this reading. I didn’t care for any of the characters at first. As the book progresses however, a great story unfolds. But it’s a long journey.

Excellent and Unexpected
I am not sure I would have chosen this book if I had known it was the story of a journey through cancer. At times it was hard to listen to because I lost my husband to cancer. The characters are rich and I now find myself missing them. The character development is well done and overall a really great story!

not what I expected
I have read a few of her books and I've always attributed them to salty beach novels love and romance and The like. I tolerated it but I didn't really like this story. It was too introspective for Me. it wasnt what I was looking for and unfortunately my rating is low. I didn't like the characters Or the storyline.
