Kevin Billingsley was arrested when he was 18 years old due to being on the scene of a homicide. While he was completely innocent of the crime and did not commit any wrongdoing, he was arrested and charged with multiple criminal charges, which led him to be wrongfully sentenced to life in prison. Kevin has been behind bars for 25 years for a crime that he did not commit. In this episode, we discuss Kevin's case with Sarah DeArmond, who is the founder of the nonprofit Voiceless Behind Bars, which works with legal systems to free the wrongfully accused. Sarah and her team are working closely with Kevin and his case and hope to see justice for him very soon. We also cover wrongful incarcerations in general and discuss the flaws of our criminal justice systems as it relates to a fair trial in this episode.

Stacey was murdered in her Columbus, OH apartment just a few months after graduating from Ohio State. On May 29th, 2023, a 20-year-old man in New Delhi, India stabbed his 16-year-old girlfriend to death over 20 times and stoned her on a busy street while a multitude of people walked past and did not do anything to help.
