The only problem: Banneker doesn't want to share his room. He's got an army of robots to make Ellicott miserable until he goes home.
When the boys are ambushed by robot bees the size of cars, Ellicott's only friend is carried off and held for ransom. To rescue him, Ellicott has no choice but to partner with his cousin. Ellicott doesn't know what's worse: facing a hive of giant robot bees or spending more time with Banneker Bones.

A high tech adventure with gadgets galore!
I would love to visit Banneker Bones world with its robots and gadgets and robot bees. Well. Maybe not the robot bees. This story follows two unlikely heroes as they try to navigate their new friendship all while unraveling a bizarre mystery that puts their best friend’s life in danger. Tons of action on every page . Banneker is a character that you will love and simultaneously want to smack. A combo I found both refreshing and hilarious. This is a great choice for the middle school boy in your life!
