A must listen selection !

Loved the character and storyline developments; which can spin off in so many interesting avenues, with so many loveable characters. This book grabs the listener and pulls them right in. I am so looking forward to the next release and cannot wait to see which pathway the author takes us down next time!

Bad to the Crone

Loved this new series. Scout is kind of a bad arse. chang wait to see where things go with Gunner and to see what misadventures follow in Hawthorne Hallow.

Good Start

Looking forward to learning more about Scout. Gunner is also a little different for then what Amanda has for her leading men.

Nope

Just couldn't get into it. Felt like I was missing previous books. I couldn't get past chapter 3.

interesting take on magic

female protagonist is quite immature for a 30 yr old. HS behavior. story was good, but parts repeated, which was odd. performance was a bit flat and contributed to the female lead seeming younger than she should.

Robotic Narrator

The story was well done, but the narrator was a bit robotic and didn’t do the characters the justice they deserved.

Magic

At first I didn’t think I would like this series but had to give it a chance. Amanda is one of my favorite authors. The further I got into the book the more I started to enjoy it. Now I’m on book two. I am a fan of this series and recommend it.

Enjoyed

I really enjoyed this audiobook mystery. The narrator did an excellent job on bringing the characters to life! I really enjoyed all the characters and the mystery was a good one. The supernatural aspect made it fun as well. I am looking forward to another! I received this audiobook by my request in exchange for a review from Audiobook Boom.

Love the New Series!

I love this new addition to the Amanda M. Lee universe. It has some great characters that I can't wait to see develop. I am also anxious to see how this series expands the mythos of the universe. I have my guesses about how Scout fits in and how this series might inform readers about how magic came to be and why it is so diverse and cannot wait to if my guesses are correct.
