It had potential but...

This book had potential. While no person mentioned in the Bible is insignificant, I do love to learn about lesser or more overlooked people hidden throughout the pages. However, I found the writing style to be extremely boring! This writer did not effectively bring these people to life or improve our knowledge or understanding of them. If that wasn't bad enough, the narrator was probably the worst narrator I have ever heard in my life! Her narration was terribly choppy with weird inflections and pauses. What little interest I was able to find was ruined by narrator.
