This book was such a sweet second chance listen. 🎧 the chemistry between the characters through the narrators was palpable.

Blake x Dakota - Their passion was desperate, their story divine. They may have spent years apart but their souls never forgot what home felt like.

Wonderful characters!

Good story! At times I was so frustrated with Dakota! I thought clearly he is a good guy trying to fix the wrong….wake up girl! I loved when he was wooing her again…so much fun! The secondary characters are wonderful, from the parents to the families all nice additions. Not sure who is next but I look forward to it. The narrators do a great job and I enjoyed listening to them.

Love/Hate/Love

Duncan Prescott, Kallestra Spencer did a great job narrating Blake and Dakota. Dakota finally is forced to come home for her grandma's funeral, and she can't avoid her past any longer. Blake and Dakota had been best friends for their whole lives until they fell in love and decided to plan a future. When "betrayal" and perceived "betrayal" led to anger and hurt it takes longer to heal. This is a quick listen with lots of great moments with characters you love while falling in love with new characters. I found myself laughing and smiling throughout this one!

Love to hate to love again!

Back to Us is the second book in the Cameron Falls series. It’s a second chance romance. I adored Blake and Dakota’s story. Dakota returns after years away and the spark reignites between them. Such an emotionally, well written novel. You get all the feels, angst and intimate moments. I enjoyed their reconnection.

Duncan Prescott and Kallestra Spencer did a really great job narrating this book and bringing the characters to life.

Super sweet, great small town vibes...

SHE says he cheated on her, breaking her heart forever & she took off. HE says there was no cheating, and she left for no reason. Eleven years later, they’re in the same tiny town and can’t seem to stay apart …

I enjoyed how they sorta butted heads, but then the miscomm wasn’t too dragged out. Enjoyed the ‘everyone knows everyone’ / small town vibes.

Overall:
A short, super sweet, small town, contemporary romance. The perfect companion for some mundane work, or exercise ;) .
