Loved it

Great listen, loved the characters and the story. Part 1 and 2 was worth the buy wish there was a part 3.

Good close to Part I

I enjoyed both books and was happy with the conclusion as well as somewhat interested in the direction the next book could take with the characters mentioned. I did not enjoy some of the narrators and it made it harder to enjoy.

2. You will think you know all the characters. So much so, you will look for them in your cell phone.
3. I promise you will share this book with a friend (male or female).

It was my first time reading her work and I can't stop talking about it. It is well written and she can paint a wonderful picture with words. The book came to life as I listened to each chapter on my drive and while at work.

Ida Bell should have been the narrator

It was a struggle to finish listening to the book. The many different narrators were a true struggle. Because I listened to book 1, I wanted to find out what happened to Breland. Now that I know, there is no need to go any further. With the new characters that are not well developed. For me, I'm not trying to look for book 3.

Why not the same narrator

I was disappointed they didn’t use the same narrator from part 1 it’s throws off the whole vibe

Loved it

It took a minute to get used to the new narrator, but eventually I enjoyed their ability to give the voice to
the different characters

Engaging until the end

I loved this story line and look forward to seeing what spinoffs come from this book. You realize within this story that family is everything. Great narration, but the names were pronounced different with the second narrators versus those in book 1.

Good Story

I enjoyed this one from the beginning. Bad and bougie, boss chicks and lovable thugs made this one a very interesting stort
A happy ending is always a plus for me. 4 different narrators was a bit distracting but overall this was a good story.

This book was a waste of time

Save your credit. This book was a total waste of 7 hours of my time.
