What's sleep training?

Sleep training is the process of supporting a child learn how to go to sleep and stay asleep thru the night. A few infants do this speedy and without difficulty, but many others have problem settling all the way down to sleep - or getting back to sleep once they've woke up - and that they want help alongside the manner.

When can I start sleep training?

Most experts suggest starting while your infant is among four and six months old. Through about four months, infants have commonly started to develop a normal sleep-wake cycle and dropped most of their night feedings. those are symptoms they may be prepared to begin sleep training. I love this audio book.

Easy listen, informative, helped me establish a bedtime routine for my kiddo and ease my expectations on sleep. My kid was up 1-2 times a night at 2 months old, sleeping through the night at 4 months old.

I absolutely love how the author encourages!!

Because not everyone is a morning person, I loved it! not everything happens in the morning. I absolutely love how the author encourages her tips to realize how easy is to stay healthy by doing small but significant things to help healthy. I always loved to sleep... and I never knew the science behind it and how important it is for our bodies.

This is a great listen, as someone who struggles with getting to sleep at night this book resonated with me. I can't wait to implement my changes and help myself on the road to a more well-rested person who doesn't sabotage her own weight loss.

This is a very informative book.

This is a very informative book that really lays out what's good and bad about eating before you go to bed. It tells you how it has a cause and effect on your energy level and whether you will get a good night's rest. It also describes what healthy foods to eat. And also directs you into forming good habits by giving you action plans.

Great info, yet repetitive

Wish could have had this book in a summary. Great info and good ideas, but it’s way too long and repetitive. Felt like I had to listen until the end to make sure I wasn’t going to miss new information. Good principles to put into practices.

A Lot of Information

This book has been empowering in some aspects but overwhelming in others. It contains A LOT of information, studies, experiences, and advice, which makes it useful for a lot of people. For the way my wife and I want to raise our kids it has some useful tips and some not-so-useful. The trick we've decided is starting very early to train your children to sleep. So, the best time to read it is right as you are getting ready for that little one to come. All in all, it is a good read and can help most people in at least a small way.
