Publisher's Summary

Does your baby refuse to sleep, wake up every 30 minutes during the night, or always wake up too early in the morning? Are you desperate to let your baby sleep without crying so you yourself can get some rest? Then keep reading....

Almost nobody tells you about the impact of the sleep-depriving nights for weeks or months in a row. Rocking your baby to sleep for an hour only to get him or her waking up 25 minutes later. Even without a sleep problem, your newborn hasn’t developed the right hormone balance yet to follow the day-and-night rhythm in the first three months.

But how does that leave you?

Maybe you feel like a living zombie. You are afraid that you cannot take care of your newborn because of the sleep you are missing.

All moms and dads have been there. Some worse than others. You are in the middle of it. Don’t worry, there has been a great amount of research done and studies on practical and healthy ways to get your baby to sleep independently. As a help for all sleep-deprived moms, it’s my duty to share everything I learned dealing with my three babies.

In Baby Sleep Training you will discover:

  • The step-by-step baby sleep training methods and how to teach your baby to fall asleep within 10 minutes based on the baby’s age
  • Easy to understand facts about how a healthy baby should sleep so you can see how yours is doing
  • To-the-point tips and tricks for your baby’s daytime naps
  • How to handle sleep regressions when the baby grows for reasons like growing teeth and food reflux.
  • The unknown effects of sleep deprivation on your baby’s health and on your health and the newest methods you can use to prevent this

Bonus material

  • The truth about parents' sleep deprivation and tips and measures you can take to minimize the effects
  • Practical sleep hygiene for both babies and moms
  • Includes advice for babies who need to be rocked, need a soother or pacifier, wake up too early, wake up too frequently, or don’t want to go to sleep at all
  • Common baby sleep problems you can discuss with your pediatrician

All the information you will find is based on scientific evidence.

Every baby is different. Regarding baby sleep there is no such thing as one size fits all. The training offered in this book gives you the flexibility and room to give your own swing to it.

Do yourself and your baby a big favor. Stop searching hours on the Internet, stop scrolling the long lists of books, and start training your baby to sleep 12 hours every night and get back your well-deserved sleep.

You and your baby have suffered more than enough.

Great book to help parents

Great review of the science of sleep and how to help your child get the best sleep. We started early and got our daughter to sleep with minimal crying based on the recommended methods.

Very glad I got this.

Very glad I got this. I didn't know when my son needed to nap, and I didn't know that I didn't know. I thought that if he was tired he would go to sleep, as he did when he was a newborn. I thought he was a fussy baby. Once I started protecting his naps as the book instructs, nearly all of his crying disappeared.

This gives ideas for more than one way to help you

This gives ideas for more than one way to help your child sleep. It points out the importance of sleep on your child’s health which really reaffirms a parent's own need for sleep!

This book provides very helpful information

This book provides very helpful information however it is dauntingly LONG whereas there are now podcasts and other similar books that are much more user-friendly with the same teaching points. The length is likely largely in part due to his repetitive statements, and I think he could get his important messages across in a much more concise manner.

Life saver!

Lifesaver! This book provided an exceptionally well-rounded instruction on how to raise with care. Covering all bases such as medical issues, special circumstances, caring/cleaning, mental preparation, everything was illustrated very succinctly. So glad I picked this one up.

Lots of statistics and research going in. I didn't listen to it front to back but skimmed through the parts that were relevant to me. I'm giving this 5 stars because my 4-month-old can sleep anywhere now thanks to this book and I've learned to protect my baby's sleep!

One of the best books recommended

One of the best books recommended by other mom friends. It has a lot of good information on baby sleep, it made me understand how my baby's sleep changes as she grows. Other sleep books mostly just recommend a routine with little explanation of the scientific side of sleep.

Must have for new moms

I’ve been listening to this book as a helper to my nights of sleep. A lot of things you probably already know/heard about, but it is a good way to feel reassured of what you’re doing. Plus gives you tips and hints on other things you didn’t think about!
