Story
Mayim Bialik was the child star of the popular 1990s TV sitcom Blossom, but she definitely didn't follow the typical child-star trajectory. Instead, Mayim got her Ph.D. in neuroscience from UCLA, married her college sweetheart, and had two kids. Mayim then did what many new moms do - she read a lot of books, talked with other parents, and she soon started questioning a lot of the conventional wisdom she heard about the "right" way to raise a child. That's when she turned to attachment parenting.

And her one 152 baby books tell her exactly what she can expect. Very enjoyable!
This book is my bible for now. Raising a child with this book by my side makes parenting less hard and more enjoyable. I would recommend the book to anyone who is having hard time parenting the new born baby.

Provides helpful instructions
Awesome listen from this audible. I love the approach that it takes when referring to the baby, and still includes sound suggestions, advice and instruction. My son and his wife ate highly competitive and I can easily imagine him comparing this book to her "What to Expect the 1st Year" I truly hunk the layout/approach is perfect for any new parent, but Dads especially, as it lends a comfortable frame of reference and terms.

Found very helpful
Such a cute book! I was recently asked to be a parent and know absolutely nothing about kids. This book was very helpful and broke everything down in a very easy way to understand. Loved the diagrams and charts. Easy to listen and reference, and the added humor made it fun and less dry than other options.

Excellent basic book for new parent
My daughter loves this book (and the pregnancy/birthing book) - over all the overs. Big disclaimer, it is all for attachment parenting. However, it discuss developmental milestones, behavioral issues, touches on medical issues, etc. Excellent basic book for a new parent.

Purely informative
This book is purely informative and doesn’t take a stance on how you should raise your child which I found to be nice. It’s perfect for learning the basics and has a lot of answers to questions New parents might have.

Great information
This is a great listen for new parents! I'm still following along with it since my baby isn't a year old yet and it covers almost all my inquiries. From safety(don't skip this and assume you know it all already--there's always something you'll overlook), to skin conditions, to Breastfeeding tips, etc... The only thing I was unable to find was a part covering sleep regression. I realize it's a book, not an encyclopedia so it can't cover everything! But for that reason I decided to knock off a star since it's a pretty big deal. Overall great information in a clear, cut to the chase style.
