Story
Imagine a world where the usual power dynamic is turned on its head. Where women not only stop apologizing, but seize - and enjoy - control. This is the quickly-mainstreaming world of BDSM (bondage, discipline, sadism, masochism) - and it has a lot to teach women about empowerment, negotiation, open-mindedness, and more. Popular podcaster and personal finance expert Lindsay Goldwert has traveled across the United States to meet the stars of the subculture. In Bow Down, these Alpha women show how you can reset the power dynamic in any situation to get what you want.

Story
There is a dark side to psychology. A side that people do not speak about in polite society. A side that is explicitly forbidden by ethical committees and such supervising agencies as the UN and the Geneva Convention. This is forbidden psychology. Forbidden psychology is not always nice. But life is not always nice, either. An understanding of forbidden psychology enables you to take control of your life by controlling others who stand in your way.

Story
Each of us has a dual nature: we are light (conscious) and dark (unconscious). The dark side of our personality - the “other,” the shadow side - is made up of what we think is our primitive, primal, negative impulses - our “existential kink.” Our existential kink also drives the dark or negative repeating patterns in our life: always choosing the abusive partner or boss, settling for less, thinking that we’re undeserving, not worthy. But it also is the source of our greatest power.

Keep an open mind.
This book covers a wide range of BDSM from basics and just starting out to advanced kink, role play, and fetishes. It explores the mental and physical aspects of kink. Even if you're not into this type of interaction, it's a great reference for any reader and especially kink readers for a better understanding and description of the process. The narrator holds your attention and keeps you engaged and entertained the whole time loved it.

Very poor translation to English
This book could be so much better if it was properly translated into English. The content and knowledge the author tries to share gets lost in the poor translation. Next time don't use google to translate the content and take the time to do it properly.

Stephen Hawking tho only worse narrator choice
it seems almost like a text to speech mess with words like approximate used too often and to mean so much as just one example. it moves much slower than it should to cover a lot of ground. badly handled at all turns.

terrible books stay away from it
Where to start, the books are factually incorrect close to the point of being dangerous to even remotely follow.
Not sure if this was a translation from another language, but the sentence structure in the books does not lend to reading, there are a multitude of injections and paraphrasing and the author seem to circle around descriptions without giving clear meaning. Even the main homonym is misdescribed.
the authors reasoning fall short and again repeats himself in multiple points
Lastly the voice actor seems like she is reading the text for the very first time and not understanding the words. The inflection is way off and the flow is choppy. like other described it, it is almost like a computer read it.
