A quick story.

This was a short story. The story was ok but I felt it was too descriptive in some places and I found myself losing attention and having to go back to relisten to some parts.

Okay but needs something

Needed more of the story and a different narrator. This book had a okay sex scene but it needed more there is more to romance than a couple quick romps

narrator was bad and it didn't have much of a story line except sex with 2 different men just a auto porn just not what a book should be

No need to waste your money

A thesaurus lovers wet dream. The story is weighted down and slow. This is a 15 minute story at best.

The book is short but good, it left me wanting more of the story. I liked the way the action progressed in it and I might listen to it again at some point. This book was received in exchange for a review

What we've been missing?

For such a short story, the summary pretty much describes the storyline. It wasn't kidding when it said lots of sex, language and sex. There's not anything wrong with that part of the story, except wishing there was more.
I'm not sure if I've listened to an audiobook narrated by D Rampling before; I must say though, she really put herself out there and delivered a superb performance. To me it actually added more to the storyline.
The downside, or parts of it that I wasn't so sure about is: this is supposed to be classified under BBW. A lot of women have curves. I'd like to have it described in more detail. Not just, "she's got curves" or "her breasts hung down." There's nothing wrong with using more adjectives the luscious body of a beautiful woman that's heavy.
That's just my two cents. I do hope that Lisa finds herself in that part of the forest again.

Way too short story.

If the story is going to be a hour or less. There is no need for all the commentary. All I really got from this book is... a lot of mindless sex! I wanted to like this book so badly.

Would you try another book from R.P. James and/or D Rampling?

Yes, I would listen to Ms. Rampling again. I thought that she did a good job with the material that she was given.

Have you listened to any of D Rampling’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listened to one other of Ms. Ramplings performances and I thought that she did a good job with that book as well.

Was BBW Paranormal Shape Shifter Romance: The Alpha Bear King's Craving worth the listening time?

As the book is only an hour long, I thought the story was adequate. To be honest, the shifter aspect of the book only happened in the last 15 minutes or so. I don't think the title of the book fit with the story as well as it should have.

Any additional comments?

This is the second of R.P. James' books that I have listened to. Both books have left me wanting a little something else. I can't exactly place my finger on it but something is missing in these books.
