Emotional

What an emotional roller coaster of emotions and events! The highs and lows between the characters were beautifully detailed. I could picture every moment between Savannah and Harley as if watching a movie. These two really put each other through the wringer, but more so for Savannah. This woman definitely has a warriors heart through and through sacrificing so much for those she cares most for. Harley definitely surprised me with his change of heart to seek truth and be willing to accept there was more to the story than he thought! I can’t wait to see where this series goes next! Duet Narration by Liam Dicosimo and Savannah Thomas was a spectacular performance and slam dunk at every angle! These two sounded so natural and authentic together. Liam and Savannah are a talented duo that took me on an emotional high! Each of their voices had the perfect amount of conviction, sincerity, and p*ssion to breathe life into these characters.

emotional but rewarding

Betraying Him is dark, messy, emotional, and absolutely packed with secrets, betrayal, obsession, and second-chance tension. Savannah and Harley’s relationship is basically a roller coaster of love → heartbreak → hate → longing → forgiveness, and I was emotionally invested in every turn.
The biggest thing for me was the emotional journey. Savannah is carrying so much, and watching her slowly find her strength while Harley has to confront the truth about what happened made their story hit HARD.
And the tension between these two?! 👀 The chemistry, the anger, the unresolved feelings… you could feel it through the pages. Just when I thought I had things figured out, another secret or emotional gut punch came along.
This is definitely a dark romance, and there are some heavy themes, so check the content warnings before diving in. But if you love messy relationships, morally complicated characters, revenge, secrets, redemption, and a whole LOT of angst… this one delivers.
