Wonderful story!

This story had it all action, slow burn love, faith, and kept me wanting to listen the whole way through. Would recommend to anyone.

Hanging on every word!!

I love this story of faith, love, and sacrifice. Well balanced between action and romance, with enough everyday life in between for breaks. Prayer on page, closed door, no foul language, strong family/friend bonds. There is a lot of violence but it doesn't feel overdone. Threat of SA by a villainous character. Death of loved ones mentioned but in the past. The story does deal with grief and healing from it. Overall, a great and heartfelt listen. I think the narrators dealt with the accents really well.

Excellent Story!

This will definitely be on future repeat! I thoroughly enjoyed this book. I didn't roll my eyes at all, which is seriously saying something. As for narration, at first I was a little put off by the male narration, but he actually was great, His accent was perfect and created a good picture in my head.

Great Story!

This book is so epic! The plot full of twist and turns... yet in every moment of trial and uncertainty Eadlyn digs deep into "Who" her hope is in. She is an alliance bride, a choice made to bring security to her people. That choice sends her alone into her new husbands home. He is a Nord, his faith in their gods. How Eadlyn lives and represents her faith and love for those around her is inspiring and a beautiful reminder of how deep God's love is for all around us. I love Aevar, his family and especially Kian! The life in her new home is different and there is not a boring moment, and the dialogue is great. Super enjoyed the female narrator, the male narrator was okay....

Quality of the writing

The voice changes by the readers was not consistent. Accents would change randomly If prefer males do the male voices and females do the female voices.
