Whimsical &Heartfelt

I pre-ordered this story immediately after reading champagne. kisses because I knew it was going to be good and it did not disappoint. Damon is the 4th of five Park Brothers, sexy Korean American men who consider themselves players until they meet The women they want to hold on to.

The entire series is about Park Brothers falling in love with plus size women of color, which I really enjoy. enjoy as a plus size woman of color, there are just not enough stories where we are treated like default sexy and desirable women. That is not a problem around here.

Damon is irritating. I mean I love him as a character but also... So annoying, and you will know exactly what I mean by chapter 8 😂

Kendra Gray is a plus size model navigating some emotional wounds and Damon is a former professional basketball player dealing with a pretty major emotional wound of his own.

If you enjoy stories where ridiculously beautiful people act just as crazy as the rest of us, you will love this!

To me, the best thing about this series is that it combines family and found family in a way that creates a world you want to spend a lot of time in. Kendra's relationship with Denise was so rewarding, and seeing the ways that Denise has really come into herself after the events of her own love story with Corey had me shouting at the phone!

This book was very steamy, and it inverted some of the common sexual tropes that feel really old and tired in romance in a way that made them fresh and exciting. The narrators were fantastic, I especially like the way Aure Nash does men's voices 🥵🥵🥵

The love scenes were scorching hot, the love story was ooey gooey. 10 out of 10
