Beautifully written

Loved every second of this book, I felt transported. Wonderful strong and smart characters. Narrations was perfect. Highly recommend!

Masterful performance

Glasser manages to tackle the delicate issues of gender nonconformity tactfully and respectfully in the world of medieval fantasy she presents.

The characters all feel deep and their perspectives each come forth with good balance.

Glasser weaves the tale and journey of Anryn and they struggle to come to terms with the realities thrust upon them.

The narration never feels forced and brings life into the characters throughout the story.

Pacing is good; more than once I was sad when my drive was over and I had to step away.
