Religious Beliefs Under Fire in Ninth Circuit, New Supreme Court Ruling, and Homeschool Crackdown

In this episode, we discuss:

1:11 A ruling from the Ninth Circuit forcing a traditional Korean spa to allow men into women's private spaces. The spa requires nudity for many of its services and, in order to follow the owners' Christian beliefs and protect its patrons, keeps separate facilities for men and women. The Court rejected the spa's free speech, free exercise, and freedom of association claims.

17:31 The Supreme Court unanimously ruled in favor of Gabriel Olivier, a Christian street preacher who wants to challenge a law that prevented him from preaching in a public space. The Court allowed his lawsuit to proceed, overturning the lower courts' dismissals.

28:30 Connecticut is attempting to pass the most restrictive homeschool law in the country. Under the pending law, any parents who remove their children from public school will be immediately subject to a check from the state government.
