Genesis 17: He Who Began the Good Work, Will likewise See it Through to Completion

God’s choice of us, like His choice of Abram, was intentional. He says that He trusted Abraham to teach his children and descendants to follow the way of the Lord. He has chosen us to teach our children, training them up in the way they should go, to teach others, making disciples and teaching them to obey all that He teaches us. From the beginning He has wanted a people set apart unto Himself; in Christ He is reconciled all things to Himself and He started that good work in Abram.
