I found Morgan on YouTube during COVID and I’ve followed his exploits for years at this point. Above everything, Morgan is an excellent storyteller through his writing, narration, and videos. This book is not just for people who aspire to a simpler life, but for any person who is looking for the courage to make a life transition.

Great Storyteller

I have followed Gold Shaw Farm on Youtube for years just as a watcher never really interacting or commenting so I was excited to see when he came out with this book. I new I wanted to listen to it versus reading it because he narrates it and he is a good storyteller. I appreciated his vulnerability, it had me shaking my head vigorously yes yes yes as the book closed out. Not everyone comes to the land through family or background and I love that Morgan showed us how unorthodox it all can be.
