Partners In Love

“God is faithful, by whom you were called into the partnership of his Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.”

- 1 Corinthians 1:9

We have been called into partnership. What is the nature of this partnership? What have been called to do?

The title Christ means the anointed one. A person who is anointed is a person who has been commissioned to fulfill a particular purpose and given the authority to carry it out.

What was Jesus’s anointing? What was and is his purpose? He embraced the words of Isaiah:

"The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he hath anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor; he hath sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised, to preach the acceptable year of the Lord." - Luke 4:18-19

To create a world filled with individuals who experience justice and mercy, healing and hope… To create a world filled love is the mission. We have been called into partnership, to be partners in love.
